In the slums, streets, railway platforms, and hospital corridors of our cities, hunger hides in plain sight. It's not just the absence of food — it’s the absence of dignity, hope, and strength. For the elderly left behind, for daily-wage workers with no jobs, for children in torn school uniforms — hunger is the most painful and constant companion.
At Anvi Foundation, we don’t treat food as charity. We treat it as a basic human right. Through our Hunger Relief, we organize Anndaan drives every month, delivering fresh, nutritious meals to the forgotten corners of our communities. We serve food — not with pity, but with presence, respect, and consistency.
India is home to millions who suffer from food insecurity. For many, even one full meal a day is a luxury. Government schemes don’t reach everyone. Relief efforts come and go. But hunger returns daily. That’s why our initiative is built on regularity and reach. We conduct bi-monthly and emergency food drives, feeding those who are most vulnerable.
Meal Preparation: Fresh, hygienic, vegetarian meals prepared through verified kitchens and volunteers
Target Locations: Slums, bus stands, railway stations, hospital areas, and roadside clusters
Meal Components: Cooked rice, dal or sabzi, roti, and bottled water or seasonal fruit
Frequency: 2–4 drives a month, plus special drives during festivals, emergencies, and winters
Team Involvement: Volunteers, local workers, and youth participate in preparation and distribution
With limited resources and unlimited compassion, we’ve served over 10,000 meals across Moradabad and nearby regions. Some of these drives were spontaneous — responding to a medical camp, a hospital emergency, or a group of migrants in need.
At Anvi Foundation, our vision for hunger relief goes beyond providing meals — it’s about ending the silent suffering of those whose struggles are ignored every day. Hunger isn’t just a lack of food — it’s a lack of options, care, and acknowledgment.
